It featured paintings by Dejan Roncevic, photography by Vadim XXX and photographs of the fine jewelry created by Dejan Jovanovic.

The intention of the exhibit was to contribute to building a network of Slavic people in Washington through art. It is also a great venue for all the rest of art lovers to enjoy in the Slavic peoples’ contribution to the diversity and vibrancy of the multicultural capital, which they did in proportional numbers.
The event took place at Slaviya, a new and elegant lounge in the Adams Morgan neighborhood of Washington. In addition to being a lounge, Slaviya also serves authentic food from South-East of Europe, to the great appreciation of many of us from that part of the world as it is the only such restaurant in the city.
The exhibit was followed by a party organized by “Troyka”, another Slavic organization, to complete the Slavic Night at Slaviya event.

Slavic Night at Slaviya is a first Slavic networking event that this group organized. We will continue to bring similar events to the audience in Washington DC on a regular basis. The next such event is planned for later this summer.
